Tight Soundtrack Review
Blank Banshee is everything you would expect if you smush Windows 95, Electronica, Vaporwave, and a scenic beach sunset. This album is just a trip throughout. The first track, "B:/ Start Up" reminds me of logging onto an PC to play snake on an 8-bit video card. Track 4, "Ammonia Clouds" sets you into a light-bending, late night cruise. The funkiest of bass lines is not only found in "Ammonia Clouds," but also in Track 5, "Venus Death Trap." "D ☰ ☰ P $ P Λ C ☰" is a subwoofer jam, meaning that if you don't have a killer sub in yo trunk, you're not gonna hear the subtle woosh of a bass line that really brings you to your knees. Track 13, "Visualization," is basically a deep Lucid-dreaming meditation. "Following that, "World Vision" brings a more upbeat, mellow feel. The "vocal" sounds almost seem tribal, which helps to give this track a unique definition. The final song, "B:/ Shut down/Depression," sounds like a minecraft styled waiting room song. ENJOY THIS ALBUM!
